I am a personal brand photographer, storyteller, educator, and retreat host based in Denver, Colorado, but I am available to travel worldwide. I am a wife and a mom to two adult children. I am a lover of life, bookworm and tea enthusiast. I love fashion but I feel more comfortable in a t-shirt and ripped jeans. I love pearls because they make me feel classy and elegant...but don't let that fool you, I'm neither! I'm just an average girl that wears a messy bun 90% of the time and loves to get her hands dirty in the garden and go on long hikes.. I love to laugh, dance and sing. I can't carry a tune and I don’t care. I will still sing and then laugh at myself. I love to travel and immerse myself in the local culture and cuisine
When I first started my photography business, I was driven by my love for the creative side of capturing beautiful moments. However, I quickly realized that running a profitable and sustainable business was an entirely different challenge. I knew that if I wanted to make this endeavor successful, I had to learn the business side of photography.
Being a lifelong learner, I immersed myself in countless online courses, worked with coaches, attended workshops and conferences, and invested thousands of dollars into my education. This journey has been one of the best decisions I've made for my business.
Today, I’m passionate not only about creating stunning photos for my clients but also about helping women entrepreneurs elevate their personal brands and grow their businesses. My mission is to empower others with the tools and strategies they need to succeed, just as I have learned to do.
One of my most cherished childhood memories is sitting with my maternal grandfather, Nino Miguel, and sifting through old photographs. There was something magical about those black-and-white images. Each one held a story, a piece of history that I felt connected to as my grandfather recounted the lives behind the smiles and solemn faces. Those moments taught me early on the immense value of photographs—not just as images, but as tangible links to the past and as treasures for future generations.
Photography became my passion because I believe that everyone has a beautiful story that deserves to be told. Photos are not just pictures; they are part of our legacy, heirlooms that hold the essence of who we are and where we come from.
This belief is deeply personal for me. You see, I have a single photograph of my paternal grandfather, Jesus—or Nino Jesus, as we affectionately call him. I never had the chance to meet him because he was tragically taken from us, murdered before I was even born. Growing up, I felt a profound void, a sense of loss for the relationship we never had. I longed to hear his voice, to feel his embrace, but those were experiences I would never have.
For years, I didn’t even know what my grandfather looked like. It wasn’t until I was in my 20s that a photograph of him surfaced. To this day, I’m not entirely sure how I got a copy, but it is the only image I have of him. This picture is more than just a photograph; it is a precious connection to the grandfather I never met, a piece of my family’s history that I treasure deeply. It’s a picture I share with my children and hope to pass down to my grandchildren.
My grandfather has 44 living grandchildren, most of whom he never met, but his legacy lives on through us. His story is one of strength, love, and resilience, and it’s a story that needs to be shared with future generations.
This is why I am a photographer. I want to help others capture their own stories, create their own legacies, and ensure that the memories of today are preserved for tomorrow. Because every story matters, and every photograph is a piece of that story
